How to Return Mail to Sender

Whether you want to change your address or get rid of an undeliverable letter, it's easy to return mail to sender. You just need to follow a few simple steps.

First, write the "Return to Sender" message on the envelope or package. Then, put it back in your mailbox. You can also place it in a collection box for your local post office. This is a smart way to get rid of unwanted mail.

Alternatively, you can write a serious note to the sender explaining why you are not receptive to their mail. If you do this, make sure to include a "Refused" stamp on the label. If you do this, the postal carrier will take care of the rest.

If you are a fan of Amazon, you might have received a package that wasn't what you expected. You won't be able to return it after opening it, but you can still send it back to the sender.

Similarly, if you get a letter from someone who is no longer living at your old address, you might want to consider sending it back to the sender. If you're in a hurry, you can take it to your local post office. They'll get it back to the sender for you.

You can also choose to leave it with the mail carrier or postman. This will only be considered a big if you are sending it back to the sender.

If you have several names, you may want to consider a virtual address to make it easier to read the mail. You can also fill out a change of address form online to have your address changed.
